Question
I've been having trouble looking up info on the lifespan and predators of the "coppersmith barbet" for a school project. None of the internet sites seem to include this information. Do you have any ideas?

Answer
You might try the local library if the internet does not have anything. The Handbook of Birds of the World certainly has this information. I am on a trip at present but if you e-mail me again in a few days at rlederer@csuchico.edu I will look it up for you when I get home. Roger Lederer
