Birding/Peacock eggs

Question
There is a mother Peacock in our backyard who is sitting on her eggs. How long does it take until they hatch.  Do we need to do anything to help or guard her nest?

Answer
I presume this is your peacock? Takes about 3-4 weeks for eggs to hatch. If she is in your backyard, I presume you have control of the area, so there is nothing to protect her nest from (except maybe your dogs, cats or kids if you have any). Just keep feeding her as you usually do. If I presume wrong and this is a wild peacock, she should do just fine anyway.
