Birding/Robin with a broken wing

Question
I saw a young male robin in our backyard yesterday. He appears to have a broken wing as he is still in our yard today, hopping around, hiding in the bushes. I know he is scared.
How should I care for him and what can I feed him?
Would really appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Lorraine

Answer
It could be a young robin, but perhaps it is an injured adult. In either case, contact your local wildlife rehab center for advice. You can feed him but if he has a broken wing he will die soon without professional help. Meanwhile, put our mealworms (from your loca petshop for him). Thanks for your concern
