Birding/found three baby wild birds maybe Cardinals

Question
I found three baby birds that are just getting there feathers they have pin feathers right now. They were under a bush that was being torn out, I don't know what kind they are but I suspect they might be Cardinals because there are a lot near by. I need to know what is the best to feed them a commercial powder and add water or just something like meal worms?

Answer
The best thing to have done was to leave them alone as the parents are around somewhere taking care of them. If you cannot do that, please go to www.ornithology.com/rehab.html for links to information on taking care of baby birds. If there is a wildlife rehabilitation center in your area, that would be your best alternative. Good luck and thanks for your concern. Roger Lederer
