Birding/hawk

Question
I have a baby hawk in my possession. I am an animal control officer in Massachusetts.  The injured baby hawk came in too late in my day to take him to a Wildlife rehab.  Could you please tell me the best thing to feed this little guy?  Also, I am not entirely sure it is a hawk, the vet who turned it over to me said it could be a falcoln.  Do you have a picture I can refer to?

Thanks so much.

Answer
There are many kinds of hawks and falcons so I can't refer you to a specific picture. If it has a hooked beak and a cere (a covering over the nostrils) it is either a hawk or falcon. The wildlife center will take over as soon as you can get it there but meanwhile, moist meat (hamburger, steak, pork) will suffice. Thanks for your concern.
