Question
Hi Roger,
I have lots of magpies in my garden which are becoming more and more of a nuisance, they are so big that they scare away all the other birds, they make a big racket and they scare my rabbit who is outside in his run in the summer, do you know of a way in which I could get rid of them?
I would appreciate any suggestions
Thanks
Katie

Answer
You might try using a plastic owl or strips of mylar hanging from trees. Of course, those will scare all the birds away. Actually, I like magpies. They may scare some other birds away but they do a great job of cleaning up the environment. For more information on wild birds, see www.ornithology.com. Roger Lederer
