Birding/robins nests

Question
Do mother robins have to stay on eggs after she haves them?

Answer
All bird eggs need brooding, with only one exception: The Megapodius birds of Australia and insular Asia. These build large earth nests where they bury the eggs with such precision as to place them at a depth that will generate the precise heat to hatch them, much like crocodiles do.
