Birding/white bird eggs

Question
I took my fern down this morning to water it and found a nest with 5 tiny white eggs.  I had seen a small bird flying in and out of my porch recently but I don't know what kind it is.  Our new home is in a wooded development. I'm so excited to learn the different kinds of birds that are around here. What is the best way to learn the different sounds of the birds and what they are? I want to plant different trees and shrubs to attract them and eventually put alot of bird houses around.  Thank you for all your help and information.

Answer
1. If the eggs have tiny brown spots it is probably a Carolina Wren, or some type of Finch.
2. Go to a book store and buy a birding field guide.
3. Go to http://www.learnbirdsongs.com/index.php
