Question
Hi

Do you know of anyway to stop the water freezing in my birdbath, during the coming winter months?

The bath is about 18" diameter and 3" deep.

Any help that you are able to give me will be much appreciated.

Regards

Tony

Answer
I know there are birdbath heaters, so if you can find one (try on the web or your local feed store) and can plug it in, that should solve the problem. I kknow there are horse trough heaters also, but they might be a bit big. For more information on wild birds, see www.ornithology.com
