Can my female finch be put in with my male canaries the is about 4 feet high and 2 feet wide I have them in separate cages beside each other so they can get use to each other

I found your post in the question pool this morning.  For some reason, the person you sent your post originally to could not answer.

How many birds are you talking about all together?  You can put them together and see how they get along with each other (if they seem to be getting along together side-by-side).  Not all birds get along together...all you can do is try and see what happens.  You'll have to ensure the different dietary requirements, etc., of both species are accommodated in the same cage.  If/when you see any aggression on the part of any bird, separate them again.  I'm really hesitant about putting the 1 little finch in with the canaries, but if this is what you want to do, try it and see what results.

I`ve been raising/breeding/handfeeding/selling parrots for over 20 years (parakeets/budgies, cockatiels, 6 subspecies of conures, parrotlets, amazons, lovebirds, etc.).
