Birds--General/doves laying eggs

Question
I have two doves a male and a female. The female has layed two eggs, how do I know if they are fertile or not, and if they are how long until they hatch?

Answer
With both a male and a female in the cage you really just have to leave the eggs to see if they hatch in order to tell if they are fertile or not.

Dove eggs usually hatch at around 18 days, however most people will leave them in the cage for a week longer just to be certain. If they do not hatch in that time then remove them as they were not fertile.
