Birds--General/lighting for birds

Question
I recently was given two beautiful untamed lovebirds, about two years old.  I switched them from parakeet food to better grade love bird food.  One seemed a bit stressed, but responded to basking lamp.  What about lighting?  Is full spectrum recommended, or not?

Answer
Yes, I recommend a full spectrum light such as Vitalight, ZooMed, or featherbrite. Especially in the winter months when natural lighting is very hard to come by, these lights are a wonderful addition to any aviary or bird environment!
