Question
Hi im Joel from Perth in WA Australia and i have two baby doves outside my window in a tree and i haven't seen there mother for 4 days i am getting worried, is this normal? and if not should take care of them and feed them? and what would i feed them with ,they are half covered in feathers

Answer
Well if their mother has abandoned the nest and you want them to survive, you will have to take them in and feed them baby bird hand-feeding formula, and then wean them to pellets, or a pellet seed mixture.

This is a great site for raising and caring for doves (just cut and paste the link into your browser:

However if you take them in, they will not able to return to the wild and you will have two pet doves!
