Question
hello i have a 4 mth old love bird and to start with it was all good he lives in a tank made for birds in my houes and he is real mean im not sure if its cause of the kids he hates kids but he wont let me pick him you or touch his tank he just attacks me. hes sitting next to me now and he wont let me pick him up he just trys to bite me. i cant take him outside to his cage without an attack but my expartner has real good bond with him hes moved out and echo(my bird) he baild me up in my daughtes room the other day wouldnt let me out just attacks and he laughs. hope you can help!

Answer
Well, he may just take time to bond with you. Birds tend to bond mainly with one member of the household, and if he was bonded to your expartner, then it will take him some getting used to before he gets used to him being gone. I would be patient and just spend lots of time with him for a while.

You may try toweling him, and doing a cuddle session for a few minutes everyday to help the process.
