Question
Hi I recently picked up a baby doveon the stairs to my flat. It can fly, has some baby feathers (like little spikes & makes little sounds like calling it's mom). I didn't have any food for it so I gave it a few grains of rice then some water.
The next morning I opened the window & it flew out. That night when I got home it was sitting by my front door. I picked it up & the same followed the same procedure. I don't know what to feed it on & a friend told me not to give it water, but I did. I don't know what will happen tonight. Regards, Tess

I know very little about doves but I suggest you go to the pet store and get some baby bird food or chick crumbs to give it- there are actually foods specially made for baby birds! Giving it water shouldn't do it any harm.

Edit: I'm pretty digusted with the rating you gave me. I'm here to help you, I VOLUNTEER to do this, I don't get paid. IF YOU HAD READ MY PROFILE you would see I can only really answer questions on chickens/turkeys and ducks etc, so wouldn't have asked me the question in the first place. Looks like I tried to help you though which is out of the ordinary as I usually reject questions straight away like this, as I know I cannot answer them. Giving me a ONE for knowledgeability just seems like you were cranky because I didn't tell you what you wanted to hear. I TOLD YOU what to do and you still gave me a bad rating, and even gave me a low politeness rating, and timeliness.
A six, if I had been asking the question would be lowest I would give myself for knowledgeability.

I'm really disgusted that you would make me look so bad after I actually did try and help you; if I get a question from you again I will reject it, as I don't want to look worse.
