Question
Hi i need help. I bought this osprey in one pet shop just to rescue rathet than other people will buy. Then later on i will release it. My prob he is almost finish in his being you. Going to maturity stagr but still have some cotton feather. He dont want to eat i already offer him live fish live mice. He will just stare at me. Today is his 2nd day. What can i do?

Answer
Is it actually legal to buy an osprey in a pet shop? Should not be. If it has "cotton" feather, then it is still a juvenile and someone stole it from a nest.Ospreys only eat fish and young ones only eat dead fish. I suggest you give it back to the pet shop or better yet, give it to a wildlife official who will know how to take care of it. Meanwhile, try dead fish.
