Question
is it unusual for a canadian goose to be left alone?
will it be okay to survive the winter in lancaster, pa.
don't know if it can't fly?

Answer
Since I don't know the exact situation, I can't evaluate what's going on, but it is not unusual for a Canada (not Canadian as they are often called) Goose to be on its own. They can survive the winter in very cold areas as long as there is open water somewhere. If it looks injured, call your local wildlife rehab center or wildlife official.
