Answer
Any avian veterinarian and/or most bird pet stores can clip and file a bird's nails down. If the bird is old enough to perch, you should be providing it with natural wood perches, which will also keep the nails from growing too long and sharp. I would not advise clipping the nails yourself without training, as it's too easy to clip a blood vessel.

I can answer questions about bird identification, avian physiology, avian conservation, avian genetics, bird song and music, and injured/ill/orphaned bird rehabilitation. I am not trained as a veterinarian and therefore can NOT answer questions about companion/pet bird injuries or diseases.
