Question
When I took my nanday conure out of his cage tonight, I noticed that the corner of his beak had some how broken off. When I touched it he seemed to be very irritable, and it is sharp, so I'm afraid he will end up hurting himself. What should I do for my poor bird???

What you should do depends on the severity of the break. Can you explain this break a little better, i.e., how bad (any blood), exactly where it is located (upper, lower beak), can your bird still eat, etc.?
I think what you probably should do is take this bird to an avian veterinarian for an evaluation of the problem.

I`ve been raising/breeding/handfeeding/selling parrots for over 20 years (parakeets/budgies, cockatiels, 6 subspecies of conures, parrotlets, amazons, lovebirds, etc.).
