Question
i have 4 keets( 2 girl 2 boy) and one recently laid 3 eggs each day. i noticed that the female kept on kicking the eggs inside the ditch of the nestbox and outside. when she layed the third egg she stopped kicking the eggs outside and left the eggs inside the ditch for her to sit on. what does this mean?

Answer
Hi, Katelyn.  Thanks for posting!

Your keet is not laying 3 eggs per day.  They only lay 1 egg every other day unless you have more than 1 bird laying at the same time.

I don't know what a "ditch" of a nestbox is.  Please explain so I can answer your questions.  Also, please describe the type of nesting box you are using.

Do you have all these birds in 1 cage or are they in separate cages?  Are both females laying eggs?
