Question
i have a pair of white finches they lay eggs and nothing happens i dont know it they are brother or sister does that matter in birds

Do you know the sexes of these birds? Could you have 2 females instead of a male and female? Female birds can lay infertile eggs without having mated with a male. Yes, it does matter if a pair of birds are brother & sister. If brother & sister (or any relation), their offspring could have developmental abnormalities, deformities, etc., just like if humans had offspring from related members.

I`ve been raising/breeding/handfeeding/selling parrots for over 20 years (parakeets/budgies, cockatiels, 6 subspecies of conures, parrotlets, amazons, lovebirds, etc.).
