Question
we have a great family conure, very loving, she/ he was born on april 1 2006. I noticed when petting her lower belly, she has two semtrical rose torn shapes that protrude from her belly. I haven't noticed them before, and they don't seem to bother her to touch. but i am unfamilar with them. I asked our pet store and searched internet with no answers yet. do you have any, maybe i should head to the vets. she is very health and happy, =eating and playing daily. any help would be apprciated thanks debbie

Answer
Hi, Debbie.  Thanks for posting!

I have no idea what you are describing ("rose torn shapes?").  She shouldn't have any type of anything protruding from her belly.  I think a trip to the birdie vet might be in order here in order to determine what's going on, unless you can send me a picture or further describe these areas.
