can i put my birds eggs back in the box she layed them in bottom cage

Hi, Carroll.  Thanks for posting!

You can, but the birds may not accept them...it just depends on the individual birds.  If a nesting box was available, but she laid the eggs on the cage bottom, I have to wonder what's up with the nesting box set up.  Also, lovebirds normally build elaborate nests about 3-5 inches deep inside a nesting box.  Since she laid on the cage bottom, something must not be right with the nesting box.  If you want to provide more details, I'll see if I can help.

I`ve been raising/breeding/handfeeding/selling parrots for over 20 years (parakeets/budgies, cockatiels, 6 subspecies of conures, parrotlets, amazons, lovebirds, etc.).
