Question
my keet layed eggs on march 31st and it is now may 5th.... i took them out of her cage today to candle them and i heard a hard something rolling around in it...i opened one and it was not fertile ... what do i do know?

Hi, Cassie.  Thanks for posting.

Since it only takes 18 days of incubation by the female for fertile eggs to develop and hatch, none of the eggs layed are going to hatch.  Therefore, you can destroy the eggs.  If your female doesn't have a mate, any eggs she lays will not be fertile (females can lay eggs without a male, but they won't hatch).

I`ve been raising/breeding/handfeeding/selling parrots for over 20 years (parakeets/budgies, cockatiels, 6 subspecies of conures, parrotlets, amazons, lovebirds, etc.).
