Hi, Alexa.  Thanks for posting!

What changed that made your nice bird so mean?  There's a reason why your bird's personality changed.  Was this change sudden or did the change happen over a long period of time?  How much time do you spend each day with this bird?  What kind of diet is the bird on?  Does this bird stay in it's cage all the time or do you let s/he out?  If you let s/he out of it's cage, how often do you do this?

If this bird is home alone all the time, you might want to consider getting s/he a companion bird or giving the bird away to someone who could spend more time with s/he.  If you would get another bird, you would then likely not be able to handle s/he at all because birds prefer other birds to humans.  With another bird around, your bird wouldn't need your companionship much any more.

I need more details about this situation in order to help you further.  Thanks.

Answer
Hi again, Alexa.

If you want me to try and help you with your bird, you'll need to answer my questions from my last post.  Also, I need to know how old your bird is and where you bought your bird from.

You can try and tame this bird, but it will take much time and patience.  Shouldn't be too difficult though if your bird was tame to begin with.
