Birth Control/new to bbt

Question
I have been taking the pill for about two years, but I'm finally sick of it and want to try the BBT method. I only stopped taking the pill about a week ago, and I was wondering, about how long should I expect it to take for my body to get back into its own rhythm? Also, my periods were regular before I started taking the pill, is it likely they will be regular right away, or will it take awhile? Thanks.

Answer
Hi Becca,

Thanks for your question. I'm not a medical doctor so of course, I suggest that you talk to your physician about this. Where did you get the information about the BBT method? I can't really tell you when your body will become regular again. It could be fast or it could take a few weeks or months. It's hard to predict. I just found an article online that said it could take from 3 to 9 months to get a regular cycle again. Hope this helps and let me know how you are doing. My email address is DCHERYL51@yahoo.com and hope to hear from you soon.
