THE LAST TIME I MISSED MY DEPO SHOT I BLED FOR LIKE 2MONTHS AND I GOT ANOTHER SHOT IN JUNE AND THE BLEEDING STOPED SO I MISSED MY SHOT AGAIN BUT THIS TIME I DIDNT COME ON MY PERIOD AT ALL. WHAT;S GOING ON?

Hi Ebony,

Your period can stop while on the depo shot. It can also take a few months to start again once you are off the shot. Missing shots can mess up your schedule as well. So if you have not had sex after you missed your shot then it is most likely due to that. However if you have had sex after you missed your shot, you may be pregnant. In that case, take a home pregnancy test.

I recommend you also call your doctor to discuss what is going on and to reschedule your shot, or to discuss other birth control options if the shot is not working out for you in terms of side effects and scheduling.
