Question
Hi, one of my best friends had sex with her boyfriend 2 days ago. She took the pill the day after, but one site said she should of taken 2 doses of it, but she said she was only given one. I don't know if pills are different here in scotland from what you are used to in america. She is 15, and I'm worried sick for her =/

Please anser quickly. Thank you

Answer
Hi Scott,

I'm not sure if you are talking about the Morning after pill (Plan B)
It might be different in Scotland than in U.S. but I don't know that for sure. I would think that whoever gave her the pill would know what they were doing but it's hard to say. I don't recommend Plan B or Morning after pill. I have done research and it could be dangerous to a woman's health and women take it when they might not even be pregnant. Please read the article at http://www.optionline.org and the link should be on the home page. I would caution your friend to be abstinent to avoid pregnancy and STD worries. She has plenty of time in the future to have sex. I would be glad to have her email me if she would like. My email address is DCHERYL51@yahoo.com
Thanks for your concern for her. Oh, and let me know what happens with her.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
