Question
Mia-

I am 27 years old and have been on birth control for 7 years. I got my period on october 16th I have a 29 day cycle. I never started my new pack of BC after the reminder pills. (bf anad I are trying to have a baby) I am due for my period on Nov 12 or 13th. I was just wondering will my period be late or off. I have not have any systoms of my period coming. also I had a negitive home pregnancy test. Any advise?

Answer
Hi Theresa,

Yes, it is possible that your period will be late or that you will not have a period this month. It can take women 1-3 months for their bodies to adjust back to their cycle once off the pill. Some women can take longer, others will adjust right away. I suggest you wait a few more days to see if your period arrives. If not, you may want to take another pregnancy test.

I hope this helps. If you have further questions let me know.
