Question
I use 21 days pills pack. After about 5 days, When I stop using the pills, I get menses. During these 5 days can I have sex without using any other method of birh control such as condom etc. How many chances of being pregnant during these days?

Answer
Hi Umba,

Thanks for your question. So are you saying that you don't have 7 days of placebo (fake) pills? You can really get pregnant even while taking the pills right plus you could on these 5 days. No method of birth control is 100% safe from pregnancy as well as sexually transmitted diseases. To be better safe, I would recommend using condoms as well. I can't tell you the percentage of chance. I don't recommend any kind of hormonal methods of birth control because of side effects of the hormones.
