Question
If you could give me some reassurance on this situation, Id be so grateful. So Yesterday (Sunday) I was suppose to start a new pack of Birth Control but I haven't gotten it yet. So i didn't take a Sunday pill. My boyfriend and I had sex yesterday and he did ejaculate inside of me. So now its Monday and I don't have a pill today either. I am absolutely getting my birth control tomorrow (Tuesday).
SO Two questions:

Will I be ok as in not a very huge chance of being pregnant?

And

As some women "double up on pills" is it ok to "triple up on pills"?

Answer
Hi Tori,

Thanks for your question. Did you get your birth control yesterday-Tues? You should consult with your doctor about doubling up or especiallly tripling up on the pills. I would be a little cautious because of the double dose of hormones. In fact, I don't recommend any kind of hormonal birth control because of the side effects. There is a slight possibility of pregnancy in your situation but I can't tell you over the internet. If you think you might be pregnant and you miss your next period, or have pregnancy symptoms, then you could get a pregnancy test. You can get a free one at a pregnancy resource center. To find one go to http://www.optionline.org or call 1-800-395-HELP. Another good website is http://www.heartbeatinternational.org/worldwide_directory.asp
