Question
i recently switched from the depo provera shot to the tri-sprintec pill. i was only on depo for 2 months. does this have a effect on the pill and my fertility? thank you

Answer
Hi Brittany,

Each Depo shot lasts 3 months so if you started the pill after 2 months on Depo then you had an extra amount of hormones during the 3rd month. This could have caused side effects and even a missed period. Other than that, switching from Depo to the pill will have no effect on the pill and will not effect your future fertility.

I hope this helps. If you have further questions let me know.
