What are the chances of getting pregnant if your girl is on nuvaring combined with the withdrawl method?

The chance of pregnancy on the pill or NuvaRing is 1 to 8% for a couple in a year.  The chance of pregnancy using withdrawal only is about 25% in a year.  So although withdrawal adds a little for pregnancy prevention, it's not that much.  It's more important to use the ring correctly, which increases the protection toward the 1% range.
