Question
Me and my boyfriend had sex on oct. 18 and i was expecting my period ont the 26 i didn't get a period since the one in sept. i still haven't got one but i took two home pregnancy test one was negative and the other one had a faint positive line but when i went to the doctor they said negative. i took my birth control shot(depo) for the first time that day they said it was going to make my  period come but it didnt. the same day we had unprotected sex again could i still be pregnant because im so confused

Answer
Hi Alaina,
I'm a little confused.  The depo shot generally won't bring on your period.  Oct. 18 was 2 months ago, so if you got pregnant around that time your test would certainly be positive now.  Depo will cause some irregular bleeding and eventually no periods for many women.  If your pregnancy test is negative now, I don't think there's a problem.
