Question
I just started taking birth control pills (YAZ) this past Sat (6 days in). I noticed today that my breast seem a little tender. Is it normal for this to happen so fast when just starting on the pill? Im not taking it to prevent pregnancy, its for IVF suppression.

Answer
Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for your question. I'm not a medical doctor so I suggest that you ask your physician. I just did a search to find out what I can about IVF suppression. I need to study it some more but I don't quite understand how it works but hope to learn. But about the pill, it is hard to predict when the side effects would start, but it is possible. I suggest that you talk to your doctor and see if it is necessary for you to be on the pill. Like I said, I'm going to read more about it. If you want, you can email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com and we can talk more. This is something interesting to me that I don't know much about.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
