Birth Control/Merina IUD

Question
I recently had the Merina IUD installed and I felt the bottom of the IUD when looking for the strings is that normal to be able to touch the bottom of the IUD?

Answer
Hi Michele,

Thanks for your question. I'm not a medical doctor so please check with your physician. From what I've read, you should only be able to feel the strings. Please check with your doctor because perhaps it is placed incorrectly in you. I don't recommend this or any kind of birth control method that uses hormones or can cause an early abortion. Also, there are other side effects that could be dangerous to your health. If you want to talk more, just email met at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
