Question
I have been on the pill for about 6 months now. a week ago I missed one and the next day I started having a period.  I took the remaining tables normally and the period has kept on coming with bad headaches stomach cramps etc.  Is this normal or should I tell my doctor?

Answer
Hi Mary,

Thanks for your question and I do think that you should ask your doctor. But in my opinion, it might have been missing the one pill but usually it would take more than missing one day to have anything different happen. I don't personally recommend the birth control pill or any kind of hormonal birth control. I don't believe that putting hormones into our bodies is healthy. Please email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com and let me know how you are doing.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
