Birth Control/period early

Question
Hi, I just started my period a week early. So I still have the sugar pills when I am suppose to start. When should I start my next pack of pills? I am on lo-ovral.

Answer
You can start taking your new pack on the first Sunday after your period starts. Can you still do that? I don't recommend the birth control pills or any kind of hormonal birth control. I believe the side effects and risks are more than what is healthy. Since I'm not a doctor, I always recommend that you see your physician. If you want to email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com we can talk more about the risks and side effects. Please let me know.
