Birth Control/Question regarding the patch

Question
Hi there,

I'm on the patch (have been using it for about a year) and a day away from the 4th (no-patch) week of my cycle.  I had sex with my boyfriend today and he ejaculated in me.  If I remove the patch tomorrow on schedule, is there any possibility that I will become pregnant?

Thanks!

Answer
Hi Jess,

I just saw your question in the question pool. I'm not sure who you were asking but I'm the only one left now to answer. I know it is too late to answer your question because it's been a few days and you already had to remove the patch by now. Are you having any side effects from it in the last year? Do you think you are pregnant? Let me know what you think. I don't recommend the patch or any kind of hormonal birth control because of side effects and risks. I don't think artificial hormones are good for our bodies as women. If you need a free pregnancy test, you can find a center at http://www.optionline.org or call 1-800-395-HELP. If you are out of U.S. then go to this website http://www.heartbeatinternational.org/worldwide_directory.asp

Let me know what happens. You can email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com to talk more.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
