Question
i am 31 and was on the shot in 1194 to 2003 and i am having alot of trouble with the right side of my body. my back my leg and thats the only side i took my shot would it have any thing to do with it?

Answer
Hi Virginia,

There are a lot of side effects reported from depo provera. Personally, I don't think it is safe. I would recommend that you get off of this. But please know that I am not a medical doctor. I didn't quite understand how long you have been on. You had a typo which said 1194 but you probably meant 1994 to 2003? That's a long time. Please thnk about a non-hormonal birth control method or maybe not using a birth control method for a period of time to get regulated and get the hormones out of your body. You can email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com if you want to talk more. I found your question in the question pool at allexperts.com
