Question
how long do you have to be on the pill for it to keep you from getting preagnant?

Answer
Hi Faith,

Most articles I've read say that you should be on the pill about a month to make sure it's the most effective it can be. However, I don't recommend the pill or any hormonal kinds of birth control. I feel that hormones are dangerous to our bodies (as women). You have to stay on the pill constantly if you want to be even "semi" protected. Please email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com if you have any questions or just want to talk.
Thanks.
