Question
I started my new month/supply of birth control a week later then usaul and i was wondering if that would cause my period to come later or be irregular.

Answer
Dear Kylin,

Yes, if you started your birth control pills at a different than regular time in your cycle, it could cause irregularities. I don't recommend birth control pills or any kind of hormonal birth control. I'm not a doctor but in my opinion, the hormones can cause your cycle and your body to have side effects. I don't believe it is healthy to put these hormones into your body. If you have had sex and didn't take your birth control right, there could be a chance of pregnancy.
