| Comment | Thank you. After waking up today extremely dizzy (I fell over when I walked), I went into see my doctor's assistant. He gave me an ultrasound and said the IUD was in properly and that everything looked good, including my ovaries. The reason for all the pain on the left side is b/c my uterus sits very far to the left. He thinks the sickness and dizzyness was due to disturbing a nerve and thinks that sometime while the IUD was inserted it scratched something inside me and that is probably what caused the severe bleeding. They checked my iron and it was fine. He put me on antibiotics, just to rule at the risk of infection. I'm already feeling a bit better after my first dose of the antibiotics. Today is Monday. He said if I'm not feeling a lot better by Wed, to come back and they will consider taking the IUD out. I appreciate your time and answer. It was a little scary. I'm glad to know nothing serious is going on. Thank you. | ||
