Question
Hi,
I am seriously considering about taking the pill for contraception but I dont know which pill is right for me. This would be my first time. My cycle is irregular usually 21-23 days. My period lasts for 3-4 days only, instead of the 7day period. please help..

Answer
Since you need to see a medical practitioner to get a prescription for the pill, I'd discuss this with your practitioner.  There are many pills with small differences between them.  Most will work well for the average woman.  Sometimes you just need to try one and if it's causing any side effects switch to another.  Once you start the pill your periods will be very regular every 28 days or so.
