Question
Hi! I have three children. My youngest child is only 7 months old. I don't have my regular menstruation since
I gave birth. Is it safe to have sex without method of contraception? I'm worried if I have a sexual intercourse
with my husband I might as well get pregnant. tnx..

Answer
Hello Quennie,

Usually it would be ok to have sex if you're not having your period. But if you are very sure you don't want to get pregnant right now, you can use a form of contraception as well. I don't recommend hormonal birth control methods. You can try condoms with a spermicide or Natural Family Planning. NFP. You can do a search on the internet to find out more about Natural Family Planning. Please email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com and we can talk more about things.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
