Birth Control - Menstral cycle changing month to month

Expert: Norman Solberg - 10/1/2009

Question
I am 27 and have been on the pill almost 2 years.  For the past 4 months i have
noticed my period changing month to month.  One month its  light and Its a few days late-
next month its right on time and heavy. Then the same pattern happened again.  I have
always had a normal/ consistant period.  I am wondering if there is any reason this might
be happening?  Thanks

Answer
I'm sorry that I don't have a good answer to your question.  If you take the pill at different times or miss pills, that could explain the different periods.  If you always take your pills on time, then it must be related to stress or something else going on with your body, but I don't really have a good explanation.
