Birth Control/The Pill

Question
I am currently taking Sprintec. I typically take it at 9 every night, but I went shopping and forgot it and won't take it until 9:30. Since I missed my time by half an hour, should I be considered fertile? And if so how long, because pregnancy is the last thing I want right now!

Answer
Hi Meghan,

Missing the time by just a half an hour should not affect you. But I have to tell you that any time you have sex, even taking birth control, you can get pregnant. No birth control method is 100% safe in preventing pregnancy. Please email me at CHERYL51@aol.com and let me know what happens. Would love to hear from you.
