Question
Hi there,

My fiance had her period on 2nd Nov, and on 11th Nov we had a condom tear during intercourse. Emergency contraceptive pills can be consumed at any time of the menstrual cycle regardless of when ovulation occurs right?

For example if a girl is supposed to ovulate on the 16th and she had unprotected sex 5 days earlier, will the pills be effective or does it only work near to ovulation? BTW she used Postinor2.

Answer
I'm not sure what pills you are talking about. I only know the Morning after pill or Plan B. Here is some information about this http://www.optionline.org/map.html
Did she take the pills and what has been happening? Please let me know.
