Question
Hey im jj.. and recently i had sex with a girl a week before she changed her birth control to implanon.. is it possible to get pregnant before the implanon is inserted? Or will it do the job and keep her from getting pregnant?

Answer
Yes, if you had sex before the implanon, there is a risk of pregnancy. Also, any time you have sex with or without any kind of "protected" she can get an STD. It is also possible that she has an STD and could transmit to you. You might want to consider abstinence or secondary "virginity"
