Birth Control/my period

Question
I just up and started taking oral contraceptives in order to delay my period and it was working until about 2 days before i was to start taking the "inactive" pills. I recieved my period and decided to not to take the "inactive" pills. Instead i switched my birth control and immediately started using Ortho Evra. It is now going on 10 days since i first started my period & it had yet to end. It has been light & i still have cramps. What should i do? Should i be worried? Is There something wrong? Thank You

Answer
Skipping the inactive pills works better after you've been on the pill for a while.  Sometimes a period just wants to come.  If you stop the pills for 4-7 days and let your period come, then re-start, I think the bleeding will stop when you re-start the pills.
